EEO Investigations - D. Walker Consultants (DWC) has over 23 years of experience in investigating EEO discrimination complaints in the Federal government and the private sector, which includes interviewing charging parties, witnesses and respondents in response to a charge of discrimination; and preparing, reviewing, summarizing and evaluating relevant information in investigation reports.  We do this in a timely manner, consistent with statutory time frames.

 

EEO Program/Policy Design - Having an effective EEO program and policy in place shows your commitment to equality and can support your position in a lawsuit.  DWC can create a new, or update your current, EEO program and policy to ensure that your compay is in compliance with Federal, state and local laws and statutes.

 

Title VI Program Investigations - DWC will investigate complaints of violations of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin, and may also include investigations under other statutes as well, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (which prohibits sex discrimination in education programs).

 

EEO Counseling - We have successfully counselled over 500 clients in employment disputes, advising them of their rights and responsibilities in the EEO complaint process and their right to file an individual or class complaint.  Additionally, through effective listening skills, we also offer Complainants the opportunity to resolve their complaint through alternative dispute resolution.   

 

Dispute Resolution - DWC is certified in mediation and specializes in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution, which has resulted in the settlement of hundreds of EEO and other workplace disputes.   We have assisted organizations in the design, implementation, updating and monitoring of a leading edge pro-active dispute resolution program that attempts early resolution of employee complaints.
