  • Refresher EEO Training for Employees - This interactive training is designed for all employees of any organization. It covers categories protected by federal and local EEO laws and explains prohibited employment practices, including unlawful harassment and discrimination. It also details the investigation process and protection from retaliation.

 

  • Diversity Awareness Training - This workshop helps participants understand and identify different stereotypes and biases that prevent organizations from reaching their true mission. Participants will also learn how they think about themselves and others; how to speak and listen effectively to people with different backgrounds; become aware of changing demographics and other factors that require us to change the way we reach our goals; and learn steps to take to handle conflict.

 

  • How to Conduct Effective Workplace Investigations - This course explains the fundamentals of planning and conducting internal investigations. It provides essential training for managers and supervisors who may be assigned to conduct or assist with an investigation of an employee complaint, accident or allegations of law or policy violations.

 

  • Investigator Training for Federal Financial Assistance Discrimination Complaints - Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

 

  1. Describe the interplay of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and the Fourteenth Amendment;  

  2. Identify the basis and issues of Title VI discrimination complaints, along with applicable legal theories of discrimination.  

  3. Describe the role and responsibility of the Investigator in Title VI complaints of discrimination.

  4. Plan and complete a formal Title VI investigation  

  5. Gather and thoroughly analyze data obtained during the course of the investigation through effective investigative techniques.

  6. Conduct on-site investigations and prepare an investigative report

  7. Prepare letters of findings and resolutions

  8. Conduct compliance reviews​​

  • Federal EEO Investigator Training - This training introduces participants to the investigative tools and techniques they will use as an EEO Investigator of EEO complaints in the Federal sector, to include collecting and discovering factual information concerning claims of discrimination. This course fulfills the EEOC requirement for new EEO Investigators.

 

  • Sexual Harassment Training - This course is designed to help all participants understand the definition of sexual harassment; what it takes to establish a hostile working environment; steps they can take to prevent discrimination; and the EEO process in the event they have to file a formal complaint of discrimination.

 

  • How to Recognize, Prevent and Respond to Discrimination Complaints for Supervisors and Managers - This training will help supervisors and managers be able to:

 

  1. Understand the theories of discrimination and the EEO process;

  2. Effectively respond to a complaint of discrimination and harassment;

  3. Make legal employment decisions based on work-related factors;

  4. Identify the Federal, state and local laws that and statutes that pertain to your organization, and

  5. How they relate to your role as a supervisor.

 

  • Workplace Violence Prevention Training - This training is designed to provide employees and managers with knowledge and skills on preventing, responding to, and recovering from workplace violence incidents.  They will also learn: 

 

  1. How to define workplace violence and recognize the warning signs of potentially violent behavior;

  2. Identify security measures that can reduce the risk of workplace violence incidents;

  3. Describe strategies for dealing with "different," "difficult," and "dangerous people;

  4. Discuss the value of reporting workplace violence

  5. Review the importance of recovering from workplace violence
